Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self contro-o-ol, hey!
It's a Bible school song and Sean, 4, was trying to sing it last night as he got ready for bed. Luke, 9, was hanging around singing it for him too. I began singing it very slowly so he could try and remember the words. After I sang it through Sean said,
"Luke and I aren't 'gentleness'."
I said, "No? You don't think so? What is 'gentleness'?"
"It's when you don't hit. Or bite. Or...jump on a person's head. Or jump on their eyes."
Hm. Wonder what's been going on behind my back?
