Summer Turtles from the Lake

Luke and his friend Ian went to the lake in town and rustled up some adorable painted turtle babies.



All turtles were returned to their proper place in nature after a fun day with Luke and Ian.

i love these pictures and fun teaching moments. we recently found a little toad in our back yard and then a baby jackrabbit decided our backyard was pretty friendly, so we got to see that too.

and those turtles -- they are sooo teeny tiny!!
