Sunrise on the East


It was Luke's wish that I take him down to the beach to see one sunrise this summer. Today, the last day of our summer, we all woke up at 4:30am and drove down to Ocean City.

Seth is the holdout. And all those little pebble looking things are billions of tiny clams - everywhere! Actually jillions, according to Sean. :)

There's something wrong with Luke. Doesn't he know that teenaged boys DO NOT get up at 4:30 in the morning? Check his temperature.

But then, odd things like that are what make your family so remarkably beautiful and admirable.

Seth is my teen and YES I was so happy that he came along - so happy! He also watched an episode of The Waltons with us the other night for the first time in two years, a big sign he's feeling better and I am thrilled!!!!!!! Luke is 11, he came up with the idea because he's cool like that. :) Thanks Paul.
