Sean was reading over my shoulder and I told him how impressed I am with his reading. He told me that his teacher says he should look for words inside of words, that this is how he can read so well now. I said, "That's a really good..." and I paused for a word and he said, "strategy?" I smiled and said "Yes, strategy!" He said, "My strategy for my work in school is using my brain!"

I am thankful for conversations with my kids.
