A Poem by Luke on "Poem in Your Pocket Day"

Behind My Ears
by Luke

Behind my ears it smells and it stinks
Behind my ears there are squirrels and there are skinks
Behind my ears all kinds of things lay
Behind my ears all kinds of things play
Behind my ears could use a good scrubbing
Behind my ears could use a good rubbing
Behind my ears there is mold and there is dirt
And don't get me started on what's under my shirt.

That's pretty good, Luke!

You'd better start practicing your acceptance speech. You know, "First, I'd like to thank the academy..."

"...and finally, I want to thank my mom who gave me this bloggertunity."
