Today Stan bought bagels and brought me a lovely "everything" bagel with egg, provolone and bacon. And a homemade fruit salad. Eaten on the back porch with my laptop in the sunny breezes. I bought my mom a beautiful potted arrangement of coleus and other plants she can eventually plant around her garden patio. I visited her with Luke and Sean who, running for a pass from Luke, tripped over her new garden box and acquired three pretty bad bruises on his shin, hip and ribs. (I haven't yet told of Luke's broken finger in gym class on Friday, have I.) Stan built me a garden box also and today he planted tomatoes and marigolds. He'll build two more this week! Then I went to Stan's office upstairs porch and finished Song of Songs, still reading and studying straight through. Now I await a dinner of mahi mahi and asparagus.
This is the life....
